The flight went great, pretty much everything worked as a charm. At the airport in Guatemala city we were met by a friendly happy bunch that brought us the rest part of the way. After more than 24 hours travelling we finally arrived at the place we are staying in San Juan Comalapa at around 1-1:30 (Guatemalan time) tonight. Woke up early today to loud music, bangs, cars, roosters, dogs. The sun is shining, the weather is fine, so far so good!
But still, it was a long flight, and a long wait in Mexico city:
Btw: First encounter with an “normal” guatemalan (that is non-fredskorpset-aware): “hey man, that’s a cool beard”
